People are in the made race for survival. Natural resources are getting depleted. There is a lot of pressure in the world to even stay alive. The prepared live, the under-prepared struggle.

Charity had its roots from the past. Even the past has given mankind a difficult time. It was difficult to survive given the amount of war and bloodshed. Charity existed during that time too.
